In April, the exhibit Echoes of the Great War: American Experiences of World War I opened at the Library of Congress. It features a carefully curated selection of documents examining the U.S. experience of the war and the impact that the war’s aftermath¬†left on American society. This exhibition will run through January of 2019 and will be on view while the Max Weber Annual Conference is taking place; participants will therefore have the opportunity to visit this exhibit, which is¬†highly relevant to the conference’s subject matter, during their stay in Washington DC.
